Gouda, de Buffalo - 4 month aged, light yellow, solid cheese body which is slightly over-sized for a generous wedge cut.  Delightfully fresh flavor, rich and mellow. Extraordinarily smooth, creamy texture which is firm yet sliceable. Unique and appealing cheese - something different yet familiar. A delicious high-quality cheese which is easily digested, rich in Vitamin A and protein. In Holland, the Water Buffaloes are raised on a small farm in the "Betuwe" region.  This rural farming region is famous for its pear, apple and cherry orchards where the animals are grazed outdoors on fresh grasses and herbs for most of the year. The exquisite cheese made from their milk is carefully hand-made in very small batches and it is the only Gouda-style Water Buffalo cheese in the world.
