Hollander Dutch Aged

Hollander Dutch Aged (50+) - This light colored cheese is ideal for delicatessens and slicing for sandwiches. Sold as a 25-pound block, unwaxed and packed in cryovac. Although it is aged approximately 8 months, 50+ stays light and creamy because of the fat content (minimum 50%). The taste lies somewhere in between the delicatenes of a Gouda and the rich pungency of a Cheddar as a result of the unique blend of special cheese cultures used in its production. Frim, especially creamy and very smooth in texture. Because of the high fat content and unique cheese cultures, this cheese does not fit into the Gouda category, although it is made in the style of a traditional Gouda.
