David Jowett, owner of King Stone Dairy, makes Alpine style cheeses on Manor Farm in the Cotswold hills. Rollright is a spruce bark-wrapped cheese that is rich and voluptuous with a resinous aroma from the spruce bands that bind it.
Legend has it that a witch of the Cotswolds turned a king and his courtiers to stone, thus creating the Rollright Stones, from which this cheese derives its name.
